Instructions
Once you've downloaded the OmniScript installer from Scriptel's website, the next step is running it. This tutorial will walk you through the installation process, and show you how to verify if it was successful.
- Begin by double-clicking the installer executable.
- When Windows prompts with an unknown publisher warning, click "More info," and then "Run anyway."
- The User Account Control dialog may appear. If it does, click "Yes."
- The installer will display Scriptel's licensing agreement. Click "I Agree" to continue.
- Now, choose an install path, or use the default.
- Then, click "Install," to continue.
- The install will proceed to display a progress bar during the installation and command prompts may appear.
- Once the installer display is completed, click "Close" to finish.
OmniScript is now fully installed.

To verify your installation:
- You can check that the OmniScript service is running, or try out the bundled web application.
- To view the service's status, go to "View local services," and scroll to Scriptel OmniScript.
- Verify that the service is running.
- Now close the Services window.
- To load the bundled web app, open Chrome, Firefox or IE10, and attach a Scriptel ScriptTouch device to your computer.
