Install ScripTouch Adobe Reader Plugin and Signing a PDF on Windows Tutorial

Instructions

Step 1: Install Adobe Reader DC on your Computer

  1. Open a browser and search for "Install Adobe Reader DC."
  1. Make sure you are not accepting the additional offers, then click the yellow "Install now" button.
  1. Click the yellow "Finish" button.

Step 2: Install ScripTouch Sign and Save

  1. In a browser, surf to: https://scriptel.com/support/downloads/.
  1. Scroll down to the "Sign and Save" area, and click the blue "Download Now" button.
  1. Click the button for "I accept the terms..." to continue installing.
  1. Click the "Finish" button to exit the wizard, and then minimize the browser for the next step.

Step 3: Connect a ScripTouch Pad to a USB Port on your Computer

  • Your computer may download and install drivers for it. Let this process finish.

Step 4: Capture a Signature

  1. Locate and open a PDF on your computer.
  1. Click "Tools."
  1. Select "Certificates."
  1. Click the "Digitally Sign" button at the top.
  1. With your mouse, draw a rectangle where the signature should be. "Sign and Save" will automatically open and you can now sign the document.

After you have signed, click the "OK" button on the pad. The document has now been successfully signed!
